FAQ's

What's your refund and cancellation policy?

Deposits are non-refundable for a couple of reasons. First, once I book with you then that date becomes unavailable for someone else. Second, most of the time I purchase materials more than a month in advance and have incurred costs. If you paid in full or have paid more than just your deposit and cancel more than 30 days before your event, I will refund you what you paid minus your deposit and minus any expenses I have already incurred including time spent preparing elements for your cake. Orders canceled less than 30 days before the event will not receive any refund. The amount of the actual refund will vary from cake to cake. If you need to reschedule an event I will give you full credit minus any expenses I have incurred that will not transfer to the new date. This is based on the date being available. If you have to reschedule on a date that I am not available, normal refind and cancelation policies will be in effect. In light of the current COVID-19 situation if you are forced to cancel or reschedule your event 100% of what you have paid will be credited back to you to use at a future date based on availability.

How far in advance do I need to book?

Ideally at least two weeks in advance for birthday and other special occasion cakes and 30 days for weddings and other big events. Many times I book up several months in advance and have already booked weddings for next year.

Do you do tastings and consultations?

Yes. I will do a tasting/consultation for all cake orders over $250. There is a $25 tasting fee that must be paid in advance but it's credited to the cost of the cake if you book with me. I will bring up to 3 flavors of your choice to taste. To book a tasting/consultation click here.
